I've given up hope with the Goldcard I bought 5 months ago. I've had my moneys worth out of it. I want to get a programmer. Do I need to buy another card, or still use my old card. What is the best type of card to get? Is it worth me buying a programmer now that ITV are cracking down so much? I dont want to waste my money on something that wont work. I was going to get an Elvis from divineo for £45. Can I get one cheaper from a reputable source? Am I going to incur so many problems with a programmer that I may as well just buy another card? Where can I buy a card from?

The going price for Elvis with power supply and serial lead seems to be around £50, Divineo or cardman are two of the suppliers of programmers used by members of this forum.

check this site out for millenium 2001 programmer for £25 - no leads or psu though but they also sell a serial lead for £5(ouch) and all you need is a cheap multi-voltage adaptor (12v) - not quite an Elvis but will program fine for u and it's quite easy 2 use...

This indicates it would indeed be a waste of money for me to even bother buying another card. Help......
