Im all ways interested in what other peoples systems consist of, but haven't had much interest in this subject on other boards.

So I'll give it a try here, mine goes like this,

Manhattan 2500APCI
Viaccess Cam
Seca Aston Cam
90cm SCT Gregoran dish 42E to 45W
0.7 uni LNB
Philips CTU916 D2Mac

Philips ITV Digital

So come on what you got! :D

Other miscellaneous bits
6 assorted videocrypt IRDs
2 D2Mac decoders, philips and Nokia

Rolf

PS. Had to add these other bits as 2old's list made ne feel inadequate.

Some other stuff (ad3000ip, aston103 cam, 90cm dish, jaeger silentgold 128G motor) is on loan to a friend, and additional equipment is on beta test.

Other stuff I've had in the recent past includes a Nokia 9200 (with Irdeto non-CI CAM) and an Echostar d2500ip.

Blimey, I've never actually made an inventory up to now, and am a bit surprised it turns out to be such a long list. No wonder my wife's always moaning she needs an engineering degree to watch TV these days...

Can you get a clear picture on your F1-CI on the new Spanish Mux on E13.

I get good sound and signal but no or occasional pictures.

Have been in touch with Humax, but waiting to get a result.

Panasonic TU-DBS30
Reliant "Robin" LNB

string for a remote.

Seriously - those other poster's are 'true' diehard's (he says enviously: only because he likes toys).

Wish I had the money :-)

Oh well

Here goes

Main one

Modified 3.6m Unimesh antenna with solid galvanised steel panels on a 4m pole

Full AjaK Horizon to Horizon Mount with home made inclined orbit actuator system

Dedicated C band feed with depolariser - 17 K LNB

Matched 51 degree Ku band feed , Chaparral (sorry - there is nothing else I could find to run the mechanical servo) polarotor with flange - Gardiner 0.5 degree accross band, full band LNB

Manhattan 9000 - old but useful as it has the AGC output for maximum signal readings, very user friendly
Uniden UST 771 - for the up/down bit
Techsan 4000 CI unit
DiSEqC switching unit and two x two way splitters for connection of both feeds to both receivers - works a treat.

So far approximately 2100 individual feeds, programmes from satellites 68 East to 34 West (only because the house gets in the way)

Other one

Roof mounted 1.8m Precision prime focus reflector on modified IRTE derived NEC mount

36" hall effect prototype actuator on extended pivot - gives full coverage - 73 East to 70 West with 3200 counts between - supremely accurate

Precision shrouded feed (gold), Chaparral (sorry again) polarotor,
California Amplifier 0.6dB Full band LNB
Cold water piping on rear of dish and round feed for those hot nights (and it works)
Manhattan 9000 again
Techsan 4000 CI again
Passive 2 way splitter

UnaOhm EP 742 Spectrum analyser with additional EP 815 satellite board (with additional teletext board)

2 x video recorders
1 x Sony Betamax - no apologies
1 x Panasonic big bastard back projector (45"
1 x small portable for monitoring

A patient wife - most important
Good (some would say blind) neighbours - almost as important

Its not the size, its what you do with it

However there is a saying , you cant make butter with a cocktail stick !

Reason for the 3.6 is for those obscure feeds from South America (amateur car racing from Argentina is the most entertaining) and those satellite signals way off the footprint (down to 28 d:cool:

Otherwise the 1.8m gets far more use.

By the way if anyone is interested I have the 3m solid - eight piece) that I replaced three years ago. Nothing wrong with it, just it was not big enough.
Horizon to horizon mount has fixed declination for use in South England, but it also has a inclined orbit adjustment built in

Yours if you collect (and have a large estate car)

Hey CH

That's the danger with setting up those big dishes. Gust of wind, and you've got the bloody thing in your face.
