what satellites u cant see?

You may have problems with some of the weaker sats but certainly not for the likes of2 8e, 19e

Or get out in the rain and finetune the dish :)

Heavy rain is always a problem, it washes the signal

You certainly shouldnt lose signal from Hotbird, Astra 1 or 2 every time it rains. Torrential downpours maybe, but not normal uk rainfall. Try tweaking the alignment of the dish a little

His profile says he has an 80cm dish. Thats plenty big enough for the 2 satellite clusters goldfish 2 is interested in here in the UK. Either its an alignment problem, there is water getting into the cable or the lnb is duff.

I changed the LNB last year, so it's new, the cable is fairly new too, last week it wasn't raining heavily and i lost signal.
I had 3 receivers so far and i can say it depends on the receiver you have, the latest one must be rubbish because i loose signal easily, the humax was quite rubbish as well, but the clone receiver i had, a coship was quite good when it was raining.:-doh! i am a she by the way

Sorry goldfish :-ohmy

Is there any foliage in the way of the dish that would hold water when its raining.

Or birds perching on the dish to get out of the rain perhaps??

Must be something in the way or bad alignment, as I use 70cm dishes for those two sats and 28.2 on an offset bracket and get rock solid reception on all three.

Can you upload the photos as attachments, as that site is very slow and the pictures take an age to load.

This product is available in the USA, I do NOT sell it but have tested it out and LOVE the product. I come from Glasgow Scotland so I KNOW all about RAIN :)

There is a LOT to be said for a DRY dish in pouring rain! Even in the heavy summer thunder storms I still have signal. Of course it will not help with heavy clouds but for keeping your dish BONE dry this works great. It also keeps much of the snow build up off the dish, heavy snow will block the signal and the weight of the snow will pull the dish out of whack!

All the best from Minneapolis USA!
