Is this a recent problem? (ie Did it work properly in the past?)

What DM Model is it?

What dish do you have and what mechanism is used for moving it?

And what are the details of your dish/motor ?

The DM500 is not the most reliable beast when used with a DiSEqC motor.

Almost certainly a power supply issue in the 500.

Some 500 clone models are notorious for having poor power supplies in them.

Have to agree with AS on this one. Get a new PSU and see if that helps, although if you ask me if your using a motor it may be a beter idea just to get a new receiver as the DM500 is not the best when it comes to moving a motor.

I have reviewed the DM500 before and my findings weren't a pleasant read for most owners of teh DM500 and clone DM500 boxes.
