Hi,
Im trying to help an old couple a few houses away.
They have a tv........
goodmans mod no LD 26650 its a small 24 "? LCD tv

I gave them a pair of headphones
I had a look on the set for the usual earphone socket
could nt see one.
There are lots of the other type of socket awkardly placed all facing downward.

I contacted goodmans by e mail they said they know nothing of this model
it was made under license for Comet.... go contact them.

Comet of course no longer exist !

I've given your plea for Help a somewhat more descriptive Title ;)

Any concealed flaps low down on the sides, or even on the front panel?

Further: Google has never heard of that Model either.

As it has 26 in the code, perhaps it's a 26" (That tends to be part of the manner of naming), or if it really is 24" then maybe you've noted the code down incorrectly?

Edit: Cracked it - It should be LD 2665D >> That exists! (Topic Title further amended)

Just checking links to see if it throws anything up.

There are a reasonable number of links now we've corrected the Model No. plus even more for the newer LD2667D.

Still not found a decent set of piccies, though.

Actually, they don't call me Sherlock at all.

Even smaller: 3.5mm (Same a MP3 Players, Personal Stereo etc.)

Yes indeed: The only pics I could find (Of the newer Model) didn't show it clearly, but it seems a lot of the connections are under an overhanging shroud at the bottom edge of the rear panel.

But the main thing is that there is one - just a matter of homing in on the little swine!

Don't know if this helps but this is listed as an image of the main circuit board for the aforementioned Goodmans model.

If I had to plump for one of the many connections along the bottom edge, I'd pick the one to the right of the tuner input. If a concensus agrees you can say it was elementary....

Yup that connector on the right of the bottom edge looks a very likely candidate.
