Are going to fine adjust a Toridal 90 over Easter and was wondering which channels the pro's / experienced installers are using to fine tune an installation?
Assume I should use the weaker transponders for optimal result?

Same time replacing an MTI Blue-line with an Invacom hoping to get a few % more out of 5E.

Located close to Frankfurt (50N 8E) I need to set up to following Satellites:

1W
5E
13E
19.2E
28.2E

I've never found it too critical when setting up on digital channels Pligs as quality is more important than strength, having said that, I use a meter with presets for the more common ones, use the signal strength to scan and the quality H + V to fine tune. I recommend BBC World on 1W, but probably also worthwhile looking at a horizontal channel if you can find one in the clear.

For those satellites with an analogue facility, an old analogue receiver is still one of the best tools for fine tuning.

The best way to setup the arc is to go for a central satellite 1w and then the furthest east and west you can get. If you're using an analog meter that's usually 19E and the B-Mac sis service on 27W
