I had the 1.25m Gib just after Xmas until easter time and was very satified with it. Pulled in all the "V" signals from Nilesat 24/7 except for really heavy rain fall. Had to let I go to a better home due to nosy neighbours, back to a 1m Gib, they are satisfied with that. I'm too old to be bothered with getting involved with "Hitler type" council officials. I have a Gib 85cm ready should trouble occur.
I tried the Funke 98cm in the past but much prefer the Gibs.

I can recommend the Orbital 80cm dish as Ive been installing them for three months without trouble. Excellent gain and very fast to assemble. There is a 1m but I have not had experience with it.

1.2m - yes the Channel Master is good, but only suitable for use with a worm drive actuator, unless they have updated the backplate for a DiSEqC motor. It is rather heavy for DiSEqC operation, so the Gibertini is preferable (though be very careful purchasewise if you are buying from the importer - credit card and get everything in writing).

As for motors, it all depends on which receiver you are using

Yes forgot that, the Channel Master needs a 36V motor to move, only motor that fits today are Jaeger 1224 H-H mount with adaptor plate as Andrew isn't making any polarmount for the 1.2M.
