Yes but now try and choose the best of the series, then it becomes quite tricky at least it does for me.

I agree a great series and one of my personnel favorite

Got series 1 for Christmas, will get the others eventually, my mind is still unchanged. B5 rules. :)

PS. Don't think I could pick a favourite episode, there were so many good ones.

I think quite a few remember Space 1999, I believe that Commander Straker was UFO though.

Yes, you are probably right - my hazy memory letting me down again - I loved his fancy car - a bit like a Hillman Avenger I reckoned.
:) :)

there's another sci-fi series I remember and which hasn't been mentionned here (I think). can't remember the name any more, so I'll give a description. A technological superior civilisation came into contact with Earth when their planet was caught by our solar system (space 1999 in reverse). This society was female dominated, males were used as slaves. They took a human couple as hostages back to their planet to prevent any earth interference (Bush wasn't president yet). The series focussed on the male-female differences and the hostages trying to get back to earth. It aired in the mid-70's and was American, I think.

BTW, haven't seen battlestar galactica either ?

Ther is nothing like coming home from school when you worked hard turn on the pc and put the legs on the table then start watching the 4400 and enjoy a coca cola when you are watching it.

So the 4400 is one of the best scifi's i ever seen.

Having watched the sci-fi episode 'UFO' today along with the very horny and very short skirted Lt Elis, aka Gabrelle Drake, I have come to the conclusion that the modern day episodes are so very bland.

Oh, and Gabrelle really did have a lovely pair of legs - she's my top babe

How do you know she was horny ?

edit (I thought UFO was on Saturdays , so you may have a parallel universe thing going on with a horny Ellis at your beck and call.)

Did someone mention Victoria Beckham?

Oh no, it's that parallel universe thing, and a DVD recorder ;)

I'm just hopeful about horny Lt Elis, I do seem to remember drooling over her when I was younger, though unfortunately not literally, cmon, I was younger and had no grey hair, come to think of it, I still had some hair in those days.

Anyway, back to UFO, yes it was on last night (Sat) on Sky channel 120 ITV4, and considering when it was made before Starwars and proper computers, Gerry Anderson ought to be complimented on such an outstanding series.

To Gerry Anderson if you are reading this, UFO was and is the best of the bunch, it had me hiding behind the sofa looking out for Strakers yummy ladies, err, no sorry, the evil aliens :-doh!

Don't forget, Space 1999 is on tonight (sunday) Sky 120 ITV4 at 7.00pm
