I've just moved house, and there is a Sky Dish up, but I have no receiver.

Can anyone please advise me what would be a good 2nd hand receiver to buy, to just get a few FTA/FTV channels, and I'll see if I can get one off Loot or Ebay.

Many thanks in advance.

I personally prefer the Panasonic Spencermont, but I'm sure that others have their preferences as well. Try and avoid the early Amstrads and Grundigs, they are slow and can suffer from power supply problems.

Go for a new Amstrad DRX400 very fast and reliable. Superb in weaker signal areas.

Hope this helps.
