I am tryin to update my bios chip on me new mobo (like a lamb to the slaughter) and am having OS difficultys, I am now runnin XP pro, i need a boot disk to run bios flash program, now when i make a boot disk under XP it must add himem into itself because i keep getting error message Himem loaded cannot proceed,Now ive been advised to get a win98 boot disk made and i`ll be alright. Has any1 out there got 1 (or will make 1) and can they download file to me (if you can download a boot disk file) as if i remeber rightly some files are hidden, any help would be gladly recieved.
PS on a serious note , ive got the name & addy of bios chip manufactor for when i **** up this £430 mobo (flashing it) so dont worry. DAVE.
