hi all . I recently setup a new motorized dish. After setting up the dish and motor i went to USALS setting in my receiver and put my longitude and latitude and then selected hotbird 13 east. The motor moved alittle and stop but no channels . So i went manually movied the dish toward east and west and its nose up and down untill i got good signal and then i tightend the bolts and did an auto scan and got all the channels on hotbird!

Then on my receiver i selected other satellites east of hotbird such as eutelsat 16the and Astra 19.2... But untortunelty i didnt get any signal from non of them!! Then i selected again hotbird and dish moved toward hotbird 13 and i got signal and all my channels!! Could any one tell me what should i do to get all those other satellite channels east of hotbird 13? why my dish and motor doesn't get signals of all other sattellites on the arch ?

Thanks for reply . Yes i followed that tutorial but that tutorial doesn't go in depth about USALS setup. My setup only receives hotbird 13 but not the rest of satellites ?
should i manually adjust the dish after dish stops moving to Astra ? if i do that then i think hotbird will be gone!! Or you think receiver saves the location of each successful adjustment ?

It doesn't need to go into depth on USALS, once set with the correct longitude and latitude, it does everything itself. So let's say your longitude is 5 degrees or similar, you zero the motor and do the whole alignment based on that satellite, if you don't have a cooresponding satellite to your longitude, you pick the nearest receivable satellite, send the dish to it using USALS and align the rig onto that. Once aligned, the whole arc should be in place.Which satellite did you set up on for your due South? See my pictorial guide, this is all explained.
