Well yes, but the boxes originally branded as Freeview are just that, designed for the Freeview package , Topup TV is a bolt on.

I do however agree with you, Topup TV is out of place and the terrestrial network would be far better with an expanded Freeview, may even give cable and Sky a run for their money.

I agree with Rolfw

The problem I see is that the TUTV are taking up valuable space that should be available to free channels.

Then it would be FreeView...

I agree with the 'Free' view argument, the wasted terrestrial bandwidth argument and most of the rest of it, but at the end of the day, there is nowhere that I know of where you can get the two Discovery channels for £8.00 a month.

Man, I live for these channels, and if I couldn't get them any other way, then I'd HAVE TO PAY!!!

I think there's an option in the poll missing.

"Yes, for a month only to get my card for when the system is cr@cked" O-Ha

In case that puzzles you, SEC@2 requires titanium cards which retail at £20-25, so if you get an OSC for £10 + 7.99 you save.

I wonder just how much of the initial subbers are one month wonders

No - as you have been told on another thread TUTV is still secure. Titanium cards were used for a while to open some Seca 2 satellite channels, but they seem to have gone secure again.

You want it = you pay for it, although why anyone would actually want to pay for that pile of pish puzzles me.....

Hackers are lined up (wall to wall) all over the world with the sole purpose of hacking TUTV. I can't wait until they are successful.:D

Hiya,
I noticed you have quite an impressive setup and I was hoping if you wouldn't mind explaining to me what exactly is it all.

All I've got is dumb, boring old freeview/TUTV and a useless Infinity USB programmer. I want Sky sooooooo bad I can taste it!

LOL, strange isn't it, I've very often heard people say that they are not hurting the broadcaster, as they only watch the channel because it's free and wouldn't subscribe under any circumstances. :)
