A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Since upgrading to Windows 2000 (the same time as the hard disk failed), Ive found that the new favourite page list on Explorer and Outlook is now by name and not by date - as per the old 98 system

Does anyone know how to convert it back to by date again on the new format, its annoying the way it is

Thanks

You can re-order them manually by drag & drop.

May be a bit of a pain if you have lots..

124 and counting
There must be a way of arranging them automatically by date (similar to the view function that adjusts everything else on the PC)

Another way is to store them in SubFolders, that might be quicker to do as you could drag and drop more than one at a time.

For now Ive set up the C/documents and settings/user/favourites by date and keep it somewhere on the desktop.

Its a short term solution and would be grateful if there is a hassle free cure to this
