I now have a similar conflict between the free -latest- malwarebytes and jetclean 1.5
Did you manage to find a way to get rid of Jetclean?
(You might possibly have to resort to a Registry hack to get rid of it)

BTW:
- w.r.t. Jetclean, I think it only comes with new installations of MalwareBytes Free and not with updates to existing installations as I haven't yet found any sign of it here.
- w.r.t. Avast Free, I tried the "official" AvastClear removal tool, but only after trying other methods, but it didn't work and so I think you probably need to try that tool before anything else - but, even then, I read a lot of threads saying that it doesn't work well!

Worth pointing out the following
Microsoft is now withholding security updates from Windows 7 users who don’t have an antivirus installed. There’s a way around this limitation, but you have to manually set a registry key.

Also applies to W8.1 users like me. But I do run AV so I should be OK.
