My Satellite Setup
i have nexus-s but dont know how to use it!!!

hi there, i have had this card for years and never been able to use it, i just dont no how! (i brought the card near 1999)

i was wondering if it is worth keeping? what channel can i get with it?
and wot other equipment do i need to make it work??

Triple Dragon, Dreambox 8000, Echostar AD3000ip, TBS6522,6925,6983 PCie cards.
Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Plug it into a spare PCI slot on your PC. Hauppage still have a driver for it if you haven't got the Installation CD -

An application such as ProgDVB would be a good starting point for channel watching. Don't know what your satellite setup is, so can't advise further.

You can use any kind of dish or any kind of sat to watch channels.

OK for FTA channels on 28E; it's better to get something larger for other satellites though. Anything over 80cm, with a monobloc LNB pointed at Hotbird and Astra 19E, or perhaps a motorised dish.
