Hi

I came home the other day and found my digital receiver TM-5000DAPCI had been harshly disconnected by carpet fitters (Using the term loosely)

Anyway I cannot for the life of me reset the correct combination.

6 wires in 2 groups 4 and 2

Red Green Black White

Yellow Blue

There are 2 banks of connectors on the right rear and 3 connectors on the left rear in line.

Any help please

hello,
i have a TM5500dapci.
the 2 thicker wires, red and green are your motor wires and go
to motor A and B.the black and white wires go in the connector
under your motor wires,in GROUND and sensor.
if your motor is now going in the wrong direction then swap the
red and green wires.
don¨t know what the yellow and blue wires are used for as i don¨t use them.

Thanks for that jacko I have set it as that but I cannot get the east and west limits to move it says Auctuator error. I will keep trying.
Sorry to sound thick but I have never had this trouble before it all worked smashing before, 'bloody carpet fitters!

go into menu, then set limits.you will then be able to move the dish.
if the dish doesn¨t move you may have blown the reed switch in the motor
if you had previously put the wires in the wrong connectors.
if you have already set the limits recheck your connections again.
good luck.

If the actuator has optical feedback, it will need a +5V connection to it. Has the technomate a +5V output?

Better still, check the actuator itself for colour coding of wires. Should have appropriate connections marked.

Yes it has a 5v output. I have one myself.
