The chiswick man is very very loud so be careful if you up the volume to hear the whispering.

Maybe ill throw the track into audacity and see if i can level it all off later on...

Here's my video converter and audio volume increasing script I am using to turn up the volume on the talkback track...

This assumes the video is track#0 and the only audio track you want is #3 and you want to increase its volume x30 (multiples of 256):

ffmpeg -i 000.ts -map 0:0 -map 0:3 -vol 7680 000fixed.mp4

This starts with a .TS file and produces a .MP4 with the video and one audio channel

I am sure you can select many different source and destination file types.

Obviously you need to download ffmpeg for windows and run this from a DOS Prompt while in the bin directory and your source file is in there too.

Does anyone have any recordings of any other cool feeds with talkback? Was there one for I'm a Celebrity?

As far as I'm aware, I'm A Celebrity was solely delivered via Fibre this year. I only have one other recording that has a talkback track and that's the Eurovision Song Contest.

Thats a shame, those are definately my favorite recordings to get.

I have another X Factor from 8 or 9 years ago, makes me laugh because they said the runner up sucked and they were glad they wouldnt have to listen to that again. I think it was the year Joe Mceldery (i cant spell his name) won.

You guys see any of the old internal Christmas tapes from the BBC and ITV staff from the early 80s they played with all internal clips of shows and behind the scenes stuff, they are fun too.

OK, I finally figured out how to keep all three tracks, and just increase the talkback feed volume.... the two shows had different volumes for that so here's both commands to fix up your files, and shrink them down in size, whilst keeping 1080p quality:

part 1 (sat)
ffmpeg -i xfactor-2016-final-part1-1.ts -map 0 -filter:a:2 volume=84 -c:a copy -c:a:2 aac xfactor-2016-final-part1-1.mp4

part2 (sun)
ffmpeg -i xfactor-2016-final-part2-1.ts -map 0 -filter:a:2 volume=4 -c:a copy -c:a:2 aac xfactor-2016-final-part2-.mp4

Any more volume increase of the talkback audio makes it start to break up, enjoy!

The international feed on 12.5w had ad break/ timing comms on audio 3. Nothing too interesting other than when the show ran a few minutes short.

Talkback on an Oscars feed, that would have been much more interesting listening...

will there be a feed for Ant and Dec live from Florida next Saturday? Would like to get a recording of that one especially if you can see the setup before and during the breaks, and of course if there is control room feed

I think the encrypted feeds are from ITV to the European Channels that air the show live.

The FTA feed is from the studio to ITV.

Any FTA feed tonight?
