On July 19th, Thales Alenia Space completely transferred control of the Yamal-601 satellite to the operational divisions of Gazprom Space Systems.

During the last month the satellite control has been performed jointly by the teams of Thales Alenia Space and Gazprom Space Systems from the Mission Control Center in Shchelkovo.

All the networks being operated on Yamal-202 were successfully switched to the new satellite these days earlier.

A few days ago, Yamal 202 left 49°E and is moving East now.
This means not yet end-of-life, but inclination is allowed to increase.
