Finnish national channels YLE TV1 and YLE TV2 will start broadcasting soon in HD on Canal Digital, replacing the YLE HD channel (a combination of TV1 & TV2). The channels will be encrypted in Conax but available to all Finnish Canal Digital subscribers with suitable HD equipment.

That new HD channels will also be broadcast on DNA's cable and VHF DVB-T2 networks FTA.

YLE TV1 HD and YLE TV2 HD launched this morning on Canal Digital.

YLE TV1 HD replaces YLE HD on 10.872V and YLE TV2 HD replaces the SD version on 10.872H.

SD versions of TV1 and TV2 are now no longer broadcast via satellite.

YLE Fem and YLE Teema move from 10.872H to 11.389H to make way for the new TV2 HD transmission.

MTV Max HD starts on Canal Digital 1.4.14
