Not strictly satellite (etc.) but many of us also have some sort of garage &/or workshop, and I found that these Lidl Magnetic tool holders are great for holding all sorts of tools.
NB: does not appear to be shown on the current Lidl website but I may have missed something.

I bought 2 earlier in the year but then the stocks ran out - but just found that they are back in stock at our local Lidl store - so bought 4x more!

OTOH, also bought some magnetic tool trays - but they keep getting knocked off whatever they are "stuck" to, so would not recommend those!

They are nice and strong. Bus, sometimes, in the garage, you need them in different sizes. I use a lot of magnets to hang stuff to them (maybe 100 or so). It is possible to buy neodymium magnets from PRC in different sizes with hole in them. So, it is possible to attach then anywhere you need. Another option is to use magnets from furniture. Magnets from PCs hard drives are also strong. And for really heavy stuff, magnets from loudspeakers are also fine. There are pictures of some magnets I have installed.

Having fitted the 4 new ones, I think I need to go back for a couple more - just identified some spaces I can fill with tools that are currently getting in the way of other things :D

@jeallen01 I hope you do not mind if we widen little bit the scope of your topic, and by "something useful" we can share another ideals and thoughts about useful things in the garage/workshop? For example, different LED lamps/stripes/chips are appropriate to make stay in the garage pleasurable, especially when you approach age when you like much more lite, so you see better. Today I've installed ~5m of LED stripe under the table. I think, I will keep the light always on, when I am present there. Some LED chips are so powerful and they need heat-sink to be used. Aluminum block from used stationary PC has enough mass to deal with heat chip is making.
Another useful things in the garage are lots of shelves - to put stuff on them. If I count length of shelves in my garage, I think it will be about 100 meter.

As the title of this thread says, the "Something useful for the for the garage workshop" would be a self cleaning option.

As far as magnets go, I get these little rare Earth magnets about 10 mm in diameter that can hold about 4.5 kg, very useful when sticking things to the freezer door.

Have one on the maintenance barge down at the lake that can lift over 100 kg, useful in finding lost boat trailers.

A word of caution about fridge or freezer door magnets, make sure they are above your belt line, as they can (and will) erase the magnetic strips on your credit cards in a flash.

What is a garage?
It is a place nearby, where we (men) can relax, drink, eat, watch TV, do hobbies, play games, spend spare time, hide away from problems.... etc. etc.

Other-ways it would be one-post thread, which is not in the spirit of the Forum ;)

Ah So! Well then, is your attic also your workshop? If not, then you do not "qualify" to post in this thread! :-rofl2
