Availink's blindscan is incredible. If only they fix the SR below 1000 firmware restriction and the slow lock, they will be unbeatable!

Can anyone recommend a Ka Band LNB for bands on 16e and 7e please? And of course where to get one from.
Thank you.

The range is until SR 47000? And about SR 60000 (Eutelsat 8ºW) - T2-MI?

It depends on what you want to find. If it's regular channels that are not scrambled then you choose the free to air option. If you are looking for feeds choose 01 or 02 sr range to 08 sr range which will exclude a lot of regular channels. If you know the frequency and polarisation of the signal you are looking for you can change the options to narrow down your search, which will help to save scanning time. Don't forget to choose the transponders you want scanned during the second stage or choose all, otherwise you will need to do the first stage again. Having Langsat or Freesat open in a Web browser at the same time will aid you identify what you see in the scan.

Are you experiencing clicks and pops in the audio when scanning? I am finding this feature annoying on a surround system!
I am happy to report that with the latest firmware update the popping notices have been eliminated after reported to manufacturer.

May I point out when using blind scan for feeds with this receiver that limiting the search to an upper limit of Sr 9000 will find some extra feeds that would otherwise be missed.

Was your observation from any particular image or was it present for a few different images? Quite a lot of feeds are with SR of 9000 and lower.

I used Openatv and Openvix. I tried the default scan and then tried an Sr of 9000 and lower. I keep the lower limit at 1000 and compared. Most feeds were found with 9000 but some extra appeared with a lower limit. An example is Eutelsat at 36 East and check if CNC world English is found or not.
I chose 9000 as most feeds are below this limit as you point out. I might experiment with lower SR limits to see what difference it makes. 1000 is definetly the lower limit at present on trying the Chinese radio stations at 45 West which are just below this.

Delsys for this Availink tuner reports the lowest SR as 0, so having 1000 as the lowest detected SR is a firmware restriction, I cannot accept it's a hardware limitation. There is no way any tuner can tune 1000 SR easily and not be able to at least slow lock a signal of 960 and lower. Tested with Polish radios on 39E which work fine and low SR radios on 23.5E where OSmio refuses to see any signal below 1000.
This is something that should be considered from the manufacturer, it's a needless limitation.

A quick question for anyone that knows, does the openPLI image for this box have blind scan? When I installed openPLI image I could not find the blind scan option.

Of course but it's not pre-installed, you need to download it from the feeds.

Actually I am interested in buying this receiver but my 2 main concerns are the lack of Gbit LAN, USB 3 and internal HDD.
For me this is important because I am recording a lot and moving mainly 720p/1080i/p files, sometimes even 4K.

So I am wondering if anybody has tested at what speed one can move files by using
a) the LAN port
b) WLAN

For recording I thought about using a USB to SATA Adapter to connect a WD 4TB Red 3.5" HDD.
Can I be sure that this solution would work as well as an internal HDD ?
Or is a much more expensive NAS a must ?

I have extreme scenarios in mind like these:
Recording UHD from the DVB-S2X Tuner and 1080i from DVB-C/T2 at the same time.
Is there any bottleneck to fear ?
i record to my NAS all the time, when i had my MIO 4K, i tested this, i recorded a 4k stream from the MIO over my LAN (wired) - it never reached over 3 MBp/s network utilisation - so no worries about it only having 100 MBps LAN
