OK, well wasn't sure if this was a goer, but I took the Ku LNB off a BSC C/Ku combo LNB as Ku was never very good and grafted a Hughes Ka LNB with the XMW FD9000 feed to the end. using half the casing that housed the Ku LNB and snugly fitting the Ka feed inside with some skrinkdown to waterproof it.
The C LNB probes remain at 10 and two O'clock with the Ka probe at 12 O'clock. then the whole thing is fitted in the AV Comm barrel.
One big bonus was that the barrel gives me both V and H on Ka band without having to move the LNB at all. I'm sure you theory people will have a better idea how this is working???
Anyway it works really well, looks a bit like a torpedo but hey C and Ka from one LNB and I would say that the Ka is no worse that siting the LNB offset by a few degrees
