    12441 V 29500 8/9 astra 2

You don't need a 4k TV. Just a proper receiver...In my case it scales down to 1080p. But there is nothing to see really. Just promotion stuff...and with very good quality even at 1080p.

    TD110 Issue

The LNBs can also be different. And the gain difference is only 1.4 dB. I have the TD110 and with the Inverto BU LNB, it works perfect. But as already mentioned, check the LNB arm. I had to add support arms after a while. It changed over time, the wind I guess. Astra 2E/2F/2G, 28.2 East Monitoring

Advice Needed CCTV 9 Documentary in HD

I don't know if you have the SD version but normally, online versions are not really "HD" but maybe you can convince someone to write a streamlink plugin (Plugins — Streamlink 0.0.2 documentation). The you can use some "software" to get it into your TV. I use streamlink for some channels which...

Just Sharing This BBC Red Button Olympics update

Nothing is done in 1080i. It's just a "stupid" TV format.Certainly, the production is at least in 1080p.

    1080P HD Modulator

I tried to find some specification for this device without any success. Can you set T/T2, FEC, bitrate etc ? I mean it should be possible to have a device with several HDMI inputs and have one output stream T or T2 ...Professional equipment maybe...

Sabotage of TV tower in Sweden

The 322 m hight TV mast in Borås (South-western part of Sweden) collapsed on Sunday evening by a sabotage. Someone removed the screw-nuts from some of the supporting guy wires. The tower is now totally broken but a 100 m part is still standing but without all supporting guy wires.. All DVB-T/T2...

Just Sharing This Eurovision Song Contest 2016 HD Broadcast

If you have internet broadband access of at least 4-7 Mbit/s you can get it in almost HD, 720p from SVT/NRK/DR, "IPTV". They are geo-restricted but "accept" x-forward-for headers, at least NRK and DR do. Since I live in Sweden, SVT is not any issue. There are some plugins for different...

    New TP (31) 12.304H - copy of TP40 - 12.480V

Here, just south of Gothenburg, Sweden, 12304 is almost like 12129. It's slightly weaker, but it's due to my LNB, all H polarization transponders are weaker. But since it's using FEC 2/3, very good margins compared to many other UK beam transponders...

UK TV SD channels moving to UK spotbeam

Good signals in western part of Sweden, approx 7-8 dB right now (1m Triax). It will be interesting to se the 24 hour variation since this is the highest frequency that use the UK beam.

UK TV SD channels moving to UK spotbeam

If anyone use tvheadend, https://tvheadend.org/ it's very convenient to use filmon channels together with you ordinary channels (DVB-T/S etc). Just add IPTV in tvh and link to this simple script, bbc_one.sh #!/bin/sh /usr/local/bin/livestreamer http://www.filmon.com/tv/bbc-one best -O |...
