    Am i watching in HD??

trouble is, if i pull out the scart lead i loose the signal, so that would indicate the signal is threw the scart and not the HDMI lead. Not too sure how to remedy that? Couple of more questions if you guys are a little bored this fine Sunday morning. I have a motorised dish, 'how do i scan for...

    can't (scan) lock Astra 23.5e

Thanks Chaps, the solution to this one seems a little strange. My position or location is as stated above but apparently the problem seems to have been solved by entering a slightly different start position, I now have it at 0.1w 51.5n and it seems to pickup most of the Sats, with excellent...

    can't (scan) lock Astra 23.5e

Thanks vk, did go threw that scenario between bouncing off the walls, the thing is i can only scan one TP at a time, i have to keep going threw the proceedure, and i think there are some 80 TP's on that particular satellite, not all active of course but more than i can cope with. What i am...

    can't (scan) lock Astra 23.5e

yep using usals, Ok, in Motorised setting i have my position set correctly for my location 02.7w 53.8n, and the goto in that menu means go to the selected satellite. That bit is fine, i press goto and it goes to Thor, i get good TP's and can scan for channels. So i presume that menu is correct...

    Help Installing a Dish

Wish i lived in cyprus...your dish does look tooo high. if anything you should be adjusting it so it looks a little too low as most dishes are 'offset' meaning they point downwards to compensate for the offset, 30 or so degrees i think it is.

    can't (scan) lock Astra 23.5e

Hi all, i can't seem to get a lock on astra 23.5 e, i can get good transponder signal 97% when i manually move the dish in 'position' setting, but when i press save, then scan, it says 'moving to astra 23.5e' then the dish moves away from the good transponder signal and back into the red...

    A little dissapointed

Yeh good point CH it don't seem to 'move much' when i send it to Thor 1w from way east. But i'm not too sure how to move the dish via the reciever, obviously i can move it to the pre=programmed sats already on the reciever (if it is moving) by asking it to scan them, but if i want to go to 5w...

    A little dissapointed

Hello everyone, find myself a little dissapointed after botching together a sat system consisting of a 80cm dish, TM5400 CI+usb, TM DiseqC 1.2 motor. All perched on my flat shed roof. Managed to set it up right, can get good signals from the best satellites 60% average, 98% on some TP's, but...
