    TPS AES key autoupdate site?

14! I've only got 10. Just tried a few of them in a web browser and they come up with quite a few different keys. I assume that any new ones get added in to the text file that hold all the keys.

    TPS AES key autoupdate site?

Hi, I'm got mgcamd and evocamd installed, using the camd_cfg and mg.cfg from JFK - I loaded in the latest versions this morning and it's working well at the moment. Reds vs Hammers froze after 25 minutes so I swapped over to evocamd which then worked for the rest of the match - it froze early...

    TPS AES updater for mgcamd

Phew! At last! I've installed any number of auto-update files over the last few days and none seemed to work. I thought the 6 URL one would be the one that did it - but no. Just been over to JKF and put in the latest mgcamd file in and voila, so far so good. _______________ DB5620s Gemini3

    Boot logo

I've got Gemini as the basic image on a 5620 and there isn't a boot logo with mine either. Using Flash Wizardmultiboot, Gemini-Triax is one of the NFS images and that shows a logo every time, as do the other NFS images. Bob

    Multiboot problem with original image

Hi, Looks like you are right - tried multiboot this morning with 1.08 beta for 5620 in flash, which was OK but NFS images wouldn't boot. Just have to wait for final version for 5620 to come out. I'm sticking with Gemini 1.03 DM56xx for the moment - lots of /var room for plugins and cams and...

    Multiboot problem with original image

Hi, Same here. but with the 5620 versions of Gemini and using NFS. It all worked fine until the latest Gemini was installed as the flash image. I can see the menu and it mounts NFS OK but the NFS images will not boot. Bob

    New Hydra56xx Phoenix 1.09 Image by The_Hydra

Are you using the multiboot/NFS with the new images? I tried but it didn't work after two attempts so I gave up at that point. I've put them both in as flash images separately and got everything to work OK. The Hydra image produces a message "Unable to decrypt this scrambled channel" a second...

    New Hydra56xx Phoenix 1.09 Image by The_Hydra

Hi, Not tried the Hydra image yet - was hoping to use Flash Wizard to test it out as an NFS image. Managed to get the boot logo image but nothing after that. Have got the latest Gemini image based on the 2.6.7 kernel and that is good, well worth upgrading. Two main benefits I've seen so far...

    5620 or 7000

Given the option now, I would go for a 7000. The 5620 is an excellent piece of kit at a very good price bit is limited in memory and although you can use NFS to give extra space, this means a PC running all the time. Although you should be able to record to an NFS file, it doesn't work very...

    5620 or 7000

Hi, Had similar thoughts myself - bought a 5620 because it was an inexpensive 'entry-level' satellite reciever. I wasn't too sure about what it would be able to do, what channels it could get etc. Bought it a couple of months ago from a German site and since then it has to be the second-best...

    Gemini image - wow!

Agreed - I find the updating and downloading a bit more confusing than Hydra - possibly because there are more options. I also find that some channels take 10 - 20 seconds to open or clear, but only sometimes. the next time I go to that channel it opens immediately. Bob

    Gemini image - wow!

Hydra going down got me to looking around for an alternative, so Gemini has replaced Zeus on my 5620. First time I've used Flash Wizard Pro (thanks for the tip John Graydon) and it was a doddle - up and running with 5 sats in 15 minutes or so, with all stored settings restored. It seems a good...

    key trouble

I used the root.cramfs method - I'll try flash wizzard pro next time. Now that NewCam can open everything up, I've removed scam2.3 and got /var down to 66%. Bob

    key trouble

Hi John, Thanks for the info - just done the same and it was a lot easier. Found it difficult to flash-erase zeus though - had to do a factory reset from one of the setup menus. Couldn't get the 999 on the LCD display when three front panel buttons were pressed. With NewCam 5.26 and Scam...
