You wont because for watching Sky you struggle to beat a Sky box. They are probably the easiest box to use. Ok they could do with a tweak to the EPG but is must be the best around and wont work on your Dreambox.

I personally think that all Freesat services should be encrypted and cards issued with the TV licence. I am paying my TV licence fee now so people throughout Europe can watch free BBC TV channels. I actually think the licence should be scrapped but that is another issue

Are you connected by scart or by RF? I have found that some images come set with the wrong audio frequency for UK RF.

I think they are JP1.2 - the URC-39930rj0-03 is not sure about the other one though. Have you looked on the JP1 forum for advice?

It looks like he has changed his older 7025 for a 800s. He might be trying to work out how the remote works on the 800 now :)

Does the problem only happen when you have the 500's connected to the network? Try it without connecting in the network cable. Both boxes need a unique IP address, they don't both have the same IP address by any chance do they? This will only be a problem when the boxes are networked.

I have a feeling the new S tuners are smaller that the old ones, I think it is so they also fit into the tiny 600.

There will always be a risk involved installing someone elses image onto your dreambox. We all trust that they have tested the image out and that it will not damage our boxes.

Dream have not destroyed any boxes. Just removed their illegally copied boot software installed without permission or license by the counterfeiters. The boot software is not GPL, in clone boxes it is an illegal copy of Dream's copyrighted software.

LOL don't start me off on what I should be doing instead of playing with dreamboxes ;)
