Hi members, A lot has happened since we were here talking about "my plight". However, I now watch Nilesat 201 and Ew4 both co-located at 7 degrees west. Nilesat 101 and 102 were indeed very far and it was only those with large dishes who could get them. Thanks those who helped answer my questions.

hetalkom is right! now enter the mpeg4/HD season, what r we going to do with our still-working-digital-receivers. I wish someone could invent a circuit board that can plug into somewhere in the receiver to adopt it to the new demands, so we don't have to turn our homes into museums.

Thanks kwp58, I now have combined IS 906 C with IS 7?10 Ku band. When I get out of examinations (I am back to school), I'll embark on adding those sats as you advised me. I am now alittle bit wiser! LOL

Sorry if my question is out of place, but since dielectric is mentioned here, I am tempted to ask if there is any material say glass that can work in an lnb in place of the dialectric plate to turn the H/V Horizontal/Vertical poarities into circular R/L Right/Left.

For sure I forgot and one day I blew ports 1 and 2! There is a day i thought i had blown 3 when the middle copper wire touched the side of the port and there was a small spark. Fortunatly, it still works.

Hi friends, I am wondering whether there is anything one can do with an Analogue Decoder? Experts can tell us if there is some gadget I can turn it into? I have two which are still heathy. I used mine for just less than three years and few!...no more service-the satellit was closed.
