Well, if that's the case why leave the SD channels on a wide beam? All they're doing is guaranteeing a flood of cancellations and the vast majority of those people then adding Sky Sports. Me included! :)

I'd say you misunderstood the guy in the shop, Tivusat receivers are mostly bundled with a viewing card, the chap in the shop was most likely going on about the new card needing to be activated, not the receiver. Tivu' is right above, your existing card will work fine in the new receiver.
