sadly i no longer have the manual. the machine is about 8 years old and hasnt been used since all the encryption was changed. ive found the transponders but the numbers in the menu dont seem to match the numbers at lyngsat.

how do you change the transponders?

ive got a feeling im not scanning the correct sat. i think the sky dish might have moved slightly. should i be scanning 28.2 astra 2?

i get bbc1 and a lot of itv channels but no channel 4 e4 film4 etc

am i correct in thinking i use a sky dish? is it the same position as sky use for there services? ive done that just now but the channels arent in order and im wondering if ive scanned the correct satelite. ive scanned astra 2. is that correct?

i know freesat is free but can you use any sat box to get the channels or only a special freesat box? ive got an old xtreme, could i use that? thanks

no i was thinking along those lines but its been a while since ive done that. will i lose my recorded programmes? can you remind me how to update it?

no the first tuner seems fine all the time. the box is out of warranty and ive upgraded the hd.

forgot to say, the weather conditions make no difference what so ever. ive seen this problem happen on clear days and nights. it also seems some channels are effected worse than others.
