In Toulouse, France (31700) 90 cm dish, most channels are OK bur pixelate in the rain, however, (10847) BBC1/2/3 HD and (11023) BBC4/CBeebies HD are unwatchable. Considering buying a 1.25m Gibby....does that seem like a reasonable next step?

Update : After a little tweaking of my Freesat box I managed to ask it to manually tune 11127 V 22000 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK.....and bingo, under SID 21200 I am getting Channel 4 HD at Signal Level 85 and Quality 100. Not entirely sure why my Freesat Box is picking it up loud and clear but my Tevii...

Thanks for your answer....and it's YES to all of your above questions! Latest news is I can get 11171 MHz tp 22000 2/3 dvb-s QPSK and dvb-s2 NBC-8PSK loud and clear, 81 signal strength and 99 signal quality....so that means that the UK spot beam is pretty weak here in SW France...I can't get it...

Still trying to pick this up C4HD on 1N in Toulouse with no joy. I have a Tevii S480 and I'm scanning using ProgDVB, but getting zero signal, which is very frustrating as my fellow expats in Costa Blanca are seeing this loud and clear.....ideas?

All transponders appear to be functioning as before here in South Western France (Toulouse) no tp or frequency changes as far as I can see and reception is as good as it has been in recent days. I'm guessing nothing has changed......yet :confused:

30 Euros. Can't complain :)
