    Telstar 12 Vantage.

Nalleman, i see that you are somewhere in Motala, what about your BBC reception via Telstar? According to you profile page, you have 1,8 Channel Master, how does the spectrum and that huge 100mhz transpoder looks like for you on a 1,8cm? do you have crazyscan and can you show us that part of the...

uk bbc channels normally on 28.2 on intelsat 907 27.5w ?

Where are you in mid Sweden? Örebro? Jönköping? Here in Stockholm i see those 100MHz transponders and a weak glimpse of 11043 V which is unusable. ESPN on a 65 cm gives me 7,7db and stable picture.. if 80 does the trick i ll upgrade mine to 90cm and give a try.

    Telstar 12 Vantage.

I know it sounds kinda silly and it is not correct but what if my reception device is dumb enough and doesn't know about DVB-S2X and I have a bigger antenna and I set parameters manually and BBC’s freq is a little bit stronger and with a fec value of 9/10…. A bigger antenna will also pick up...

    Telstar 12 Vantage.

I am somewhere in the middle of Med Central and the NorthSea beams. For my location, it looks like two beams are overlapping and competing with each other. If we look at that big chunk between 10950 and 11074, in the central europe it is a single transponder (11,014V SR: 107140, FEC: 3/4...

uk bbc channels normally on 28.2 on intelsat 907 27.5w ?

You are right, the recommended dish size is generous but the power level on that transponder is low too. It should have something to do with the power level of the transponder because I don't have reception issues with data channels on the North Sea beam. I'll try with 90 cm dish later this...

uk bbc channels normally on 28.2 on intelsat 907 27.5w ?

I was so excited yesterday and was almost sure that it would be a good signal for bbc-satback from 15W but it looks like they are transmitting at much lower power. @Llew with his setup gets 10 db from East Anglia ( I assume that his dish is bigger than 1m) and @Butacas 10 db on a 90 cm and I...

Advice Needed Installing a SSD in Vu+ Duo4K SE receiver?

im using SSD in my Ultiomo 4K, same SSD for 4-5 years now. Compared to mechanic one, as you already know it is much faster and it saves timeshifts much faster, can record couple of channels simultaneously without any problem. I know that wearing out is an issue on SSDs but mine works flawless...

uk bbc channels normally on 28.2 on intelsat 907 27.5w ?

4-5 dB is a huge drop for most of us, we all are experiencing the same. In my case, the only solution is a bigger antenna, today i have 65cm for Intelsat27,5W ( i usually got 9-11,5 dB on 65cm and now maximum 7,3 and its fluctuates, 6 dB is enough to get an image (breaking) and over 7 is good)
