can 12.441v channels be viewed with the digi box? just phoned my wife and got her to try to do a 'add channels' search on this frequency with no luck (although she may have got it wrong) 13:00 CET

you should be able to receive sky one via channel 106 now as they changed to a much stronger transponder on tuesday 3 june i can now get it in malta so you should have no problem in rome

i thinnk that this transponder is being used by bbc for it's interactive services so maybe it is not in use at the mo

so for a lot of us we have finally lost the bbc channels one small crumb of comfort is the possibility of some viewers to receive sky one where they previously could not sky one has recently started transmitting from 12.285v from malta with a 1.2m dish you can't get a signal from the epg...

@anton i have a pace and a panasonic box and the default transponder is the same in both. i think it is the same for all digiboxes. assuming that the box can see this tp then it will always default back to it. i think the guys that are getting the change in default tp to stay are probably...

tried last night but had the same problems as some of the postings here regarding the digi box always going back to the default transponders but i shal try pcmill's suggestions tonight (just in time for the switch off!!!) maybe it might be an idea for us to report on the type of box we are...

not sure with a 60cm dish if you can get smash hits channel then you should be able to get e4 on the following tp by using the add channels feature 11565v good luck

bbc has not gone fta yet they have just changed satellites at the moment. the points you raise are IMHO valid but no doubt the BBC will have addressed all this before announcing their plans to go FTA!!

@jno after you have changed your default transponder can you view any programmes through the normal way eg 501 sky news or do you get a no signal message if you can still see sky news or any other channel thorugh the epg then something has not worked for you
