    EchoStar DSB-808 2Ci Viaccess

Hello all I have an EchoStar DSB-808 2Ci Viaccess to go to a good home. It's been used up until quite recently, replaced with a Vu+ box. I propose to send it within the UK by collect+ or similar, and you can them reimburse me for postage via PayPal if it arrives and you're happy. Regards guiri

1m Channel Master, polar mount, actuator, vbox, 3 inch pole - collect Manchester

I've just replaced my motorised channel master with a fixed dish; it was working fine although seven years old. Does anybody want to take the dish and bits off my hands? De-motorising of dish, change to multi lnb - Manchester

Hi I've got a 1 (or might be 1.2) metre channel master on a pole mount on the back of the house with an actuator and a single LNB. I would like the actuator removing and the dish locked in place, with the single LNB replaced with LNBs for astra1/2 and hotbird. I would like four outputs; two of...

Echostar DSB 2110 2ci viaccess upgrade problem!!!

Bootstrap is code you load into the receiver, which then allows it to load further code ie. pulling itself up by the bootstraps (a neat trick, self levitation). You'll find the bootstrap loader under the PC-Software downloads section, second page.

    Matrix reloaded and fun card

h**p://www.matrixcam.com/matrixreloaded.htm has instructions (follow smartcard download procedure); you need to put the flash file on the fun card

If you are using a card (official or otherwise), the codes are in the card and the cam is providing a standard CA (conditional access) function - in the case of S*ca, the matrix cam is effectively emulating an aston (or other S*ca) cam. If you are not using a card, then the cam is doing two...

    Nagravision 2 - which CI-Module?

I think the change from nagra1 to nagra2 was to make the smart cards more secure, the aim wasn't to require a change to all the receivers/CAMs as well. So logically you'd expect the cam to be ok with both. But there's only one way to find out for sure ... Anyway, let us know how you get on, in...

    Nagravision 2 - which CI-Module?

If you look at the attached image, you'll see it's a gemplus (nagravision) cam with the IRD number under the barcode. I've never seen any reference to changing this in a matrix reloaded though, just the box key. When you asked for your new smart card, did you indicate you were going to activate...

    Nagravision 2 - which CI-Module?

i have a matrix reloaded; on that cam, editing the bk is one of the menu options accessed via the CI-module menu of your receiver. With the standard firmware, you can't change/view the IRD. Are you sure you don;t need to provide the IRD to RCS as part of the activation procedure? And did you...

    Nagravision 2 - which CI-Module?

I think Premiere is nagra2 at the core, but wrapped in some older system (like betacrypt) to maintain compatability with receivers. So Premiere does not need a nagra cam, and is not box keyed. Hence people can do card sharing.

    unsupported Titanium OS found

If you have something loaded on the card, the programmer will say "unsupported OS". In order to return the OS revision, you need to erase the card of whatever was loaded on it. This involves the process of "trapping" the card, which means that the card is forced to accept programming commands...
