Obviously a software problem. Try OpenViX.

There are not many boxes left that take an internal 2.5" disc. Probably the cheapest is the Zgemma H7S (with 2x DVBS2 tuners and 1x DVB-T2) at 130 GBP. HDD just slides in the back; you don't even need to dismantle it.

Before that drastic action you should try the above.

Login to the box via ssh. type: init 4 then: enigma2. Then read the output to see why it stopped. Alternatively post the output here.

6.4 is an old image. You should update. Or switch to another image, e.g. OpenViX. That way you will you will be able to see if your problem is caused by the image you are running, or if the hardware is broken. Also try switching the aerial leads to the opposite tuners and see if the problem...

This is wishful thinking. BBC One HD and 6945 both have the same Video PID 5400 and the same Audio PID 5401, i.e. they are two labels leading to the same video stream.

I don't do Freesat boxes. For UK TV I do enigma2 boxes. Set them up beforehand. Sky or Freesat numbering and 7 day EPG. I've got customers of all ages, especially older ones and they love them.
