Well that was some time ago, are we still with the same problems. I would like to add my twopenth worth but cant.

I live in Monserrat, just southwest of Valencia, you need a 2.4 here and even that loses some channs at night, its a solid portuguese dish with a quad lnb, but we lose BBC2 after 11pm and Meridian ITV after 7pm local...

I dont know if this is much help to you but here goes:- I went to Spain(Malaga Region) last week and helped a friend install his Mothers sat dish, he used a 1.2mtr dish and had all channels working 100%, he had and I watched, ITV,BBC1,BBC2,Chan4,Chan5 etc..no drop out at night and working 24/7...
