Its because some channels have changed their din/vin settings since the last Pre-installed channel list was updated, so althought you have a good signal strength & quality you cannot see any audio/video because the vin/din settings are wrong.. You need to delete all channels on the satellite...

Hi Since Sky recently upgraded their EPG my Panasonic Sky Digi Box beeps via the speakers when i change to certain channels. Anyone know what this is all about?? Regards JC

Thanks Robbo71 Its a brand new TM5400 It misses the odd transponder here and there. Despite there being a steady signal/quality of 85/56 there when I input the Frequency and Symbol rate (manualy for one transponder) in Advanced Mode it dosnt detect any channels at all, and quality suddenly...

Thanks hippo1 That's usefull information to know I must say the 5500 seems far more stable than the 5400.. and Ive been generaly pleased with the TM5500!! I think the problem with the 5400 could even be a power supply problem.... dropping out when the software runs... I also experience a lot...
