Hi, this is meant to be on BHTV1 which was working on my dreambox yesterday. It has stopped today, does anyone know why?

as discussed the problem with using the laptop is you can only have 1 conenction (either LAN or Wireless) open at one time. This means you cant use the blue button to update the dreambox (instead you have to download the files to the laptop, then connect the dreambox, then ftp them over).

i have the same problem when i connect to a laptop that also has a wireless connection - the wireless connection always stops working. i can still see the dreambox though. a problem i did find was that once the laptop was turned on and connected to the dreambox, i had to pull the power cord out...

i get the same when trying to use a LAN cable and dreamup. It only works if i use the null modem cable

i had a similar issue but the electrical item i bought did not work. I had 14 days to get an independant check on it etc. no way it can all be done in that length of time. its all a big con.

i have tried both a cross over cable and a normal cable. the laptop ethernet port works ok. The zoom is wireless. I had the zoom working with the dreambox a while ago, but changed my iSP to sky and had to have a new wireless router.
