Hello Danny,
What is the reason for the change shown below?
with a compatible editor edit the file /usr/bin/enigma2.sh
and after the
line LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libopen.so.0.0/usr/bin/enigma2
add this line
/usr/crossepg/crossepg_epgmove.sh
Thanks,

I got my 2 new cards today; both nicely labelled too. Thanks Mr Viewtech, for the prompt and good service, if you're still watching this topic.
At what point should I stop watching this stuff and actually do some of it?
Nah ... that needs effort and energy doesn't it.
And so dawns another 12...
Thanks Elmin,
It's a a shame though, however as expected, that the small bit rate increase doesn't live up to the enthusiastic claims on the promotional channel.
I decided to renew anyway, seeing as having watchable multichannel mature content on the TV is arguably more 'convenient' than turning on the...
Some of those figures seem to show a decrease whilst others show an increase. Presumably any channel's bit rate can change from one moment to the next, within the overall available/bought bandwidth for the channel group? If so, I don't know if those readings only report one moment in time rather...
Hello Cat,
I haven't found a channel going seemingly audio only after a period of time, but having had the channels on for a while, I am generally finding all that Elmin described.
Sometimes a channel is very slow to open, seemingly carrying just audio, until finally the picture appears.

Hello Elmin and everyone else.
I'll have a test of switching away and back during the static logo. I don't doubt you're right anyway, Elmin, as it seems you've made some well researched points.
My current perception of the actual picture quality once cleared, is the same as earlier, in that it...

Hello again BombedOne if you're still here, and also anybody else;
I finally put my standard definition Vantage receiver in place, upgraded it to the latest official software, scanned for channels etc.
No problems at all are evident when switching around between channels on any of my 4...

Did you mean 'SexView' rather than 'SCT'? I assume you did;i.e. comparing Theme-X with the old SexView.
I've dug out and updated a different receiver, a standard definition Vantage; using a Viaccess CAM + card the channels are generally all opening ok for me, taking about 2 seconds to do so...

I'm not going to hold my breath in expectation.
I expect most of the bold claims made on their promo will turn out to be lies, which seems to be standard for most satellite mature content operators.
