The best way to setup the arc is to go for a central satellite 1w and then the furthest east and west you can get. If you're using an analog meter that's usually 19E and the B-Mac sis service on 27W

Try it with the lead from the LNB disconnected, it will then come up with no signal and you should be able to change channel.

I've heard if you put the MM in slot 1 and another cam in slot 2, then the MM / Fun 6 in 1 combination works OK.

There are Universal LNB's with the C120 flange, but they are hard to find in the UK, so I can't really comment. As a rule an improvement in noise figure is only small, so you could spend a lot of cash for only a small improvement in reception.

I can confirm that the Sky+ recording features CAN be activated without a call-back. I am a Satellite retailer and we have a fully-functional demonstration Sky+ box that has never been connected to a phone line. It has a 120Gig hard drive in it too, but thats another story ;)
