With FTA you have to take what you can - Hotbird has more channels but most are foreign - over 100 FTA. You will get some english channels but if you want the BBC regions then Astra 2 is available.

If you decide on a 90cm dish and a diseqc motor they all work from the same Shielded cable so you will only have one. The receiver cable to the motor and through to the LNB.
