sorry to drag this old quote up, but i've noticed far more setups with the tks like mine rather than the other way round, is everybody getting dodgy installs?
holy (rude word!) cow, that pole is huge!!! beware, the higher you have to take the gibbi, the harder it is, i only took mine about 8 - 10 foot up and man was it difficult, even with help from my dad!
oh, i didn't realise, is it a problem? yeah it is huge, the bottom of the dish starts just under the gutter and the rest is about 90cm above, i just used m6x50 coach screws with some washers, its more stable than it looks!
just need to buy some bolts and get my dad to drill some holes then i'll put it up, then maybe in a month or two when i've saved some more cash i'll buy the moteck
ok cheers, so i think i'm gonna go for a 24" set of t&k's with 2 2 1/4" u bolts and a 6ft/metre 2"diameter pole with free local delivery for 23, good price?
i was thinking of the 18" or 24" with the 6ft pole, would that be ok or is the pole to small eg small diameter?

how long and how big diameter pole should i get, basically i want it to get as much e + w as poss above the roof, hotbird is basically straight ahead from the wall, and 30w is probably as far west as i would want, but i can just leave my 60cm on it if its not attainable witha motor
