There's a problem with ITV1 SD regions on satellite at the moment.
ITV2 SD is back on,ITV 4 SD is ok,ITV 1 London on 973 is OK (for non London area boxes).
ITV 3 SD Off.

That's all taking a very long time...One would have thought the changeover would have happened by
now.Apart from the French KA band and the African beam there are only the few old 1N transponders
that have moved.
One assumes there isn't a "Problem" somewhere...

If you line up the skew to be correct on a Eutelsat etc with a polar mount it will be
correct on all satellites (to my knowledge) except Astra which is a tiny bit "offset" as Huevos
said.
You can compromise and set the skew difference midway between the two (Astra/Eutelsat) but it's still a...
Well if that display is on a 1 Metre dish it's more than we get here on a 2 metre so the signal would
be 7-8 dB up.....It would be interesting to see an up to date picture now the 1N transponders have
transferred and if the vertical transponder is better than the horizontals.
It would be nice to have some reports of people looking with analysers towards
Italy and Greece and seeing what is actually there, also North Africa...
A colleague of mine drove back to the UK from here some years ago and took a spectrum analyser and
60 cm dish stopping off at various places,the...

Let's see what the 2E spot beam antenna pattern is like,it may be a little bit kinder in this
direction....
Whilst I am not the source of "Nothing on a 4 Metre dish" in Southern Portugal I can assure you that looking at the vertical polarised signal in Southern Portugal using a well set up 2 metre dishand a spectrum analyser it would need another 6-7dB to get any viewable signal at all which takes one...
I've recorded the first part of the interview, file attached...Much better information than the guy two days ago for sure.
You can go to the website and listen to the rest of course.
