    TPS on CanalSatelliteFrance on 19.2E

Most of the tps channels have stopped working on my manhattan 6800 Embedded irdeto eurocam (1.06/2.09) I have tried every combination of 6 in 1 files. Other than buying a matrix cam does anybody have a solution to this problem. Thanx in Advance. Phil.

    Free-x-tv on Astra 19E

Was already using the latest files (nozaptv by digitalus_astra_hotbird_ok_28[1].06.2003) but a very good link nonetheless. Nobbly take note and add this one to your link list. Thanx Sab

    Free-x-tv on Astra 19E

Spun round to hotbird 13E this afternoon, still no joy :-( found that NO ZAP appears in channel listing as Free X TV on the hotbird sat just the same as on Astra. I did have some Audio for a while but no picture. Probably all down to owning shitty Manhattan receiver.

    Free-x-tv on Astra 19E

Has anyone managed to get Free-x-tv on Astra to work ? I read that the crack is working on No-Zap on Hotbird but not Free X on Astra. I have a Manhattan 6800 (Don't touch one with a barge pole, buy a Humax 5400 if you have any sense) which utilises the embedded irdeto patched cam. I've...

    IRAQ TV Mystery

That would make sense Rolf. So in summary we could assume that somewhere in Baghdad is the IRAQ TV studio. The video signal from the studio is relayed via a microwave Line of sight link. This is not a broadcast, it is a single end to end link for relaying the video signal to wherever the...

    IRAQ TV Mystery

Did anyone see the BBC World Logo appear just before the test card on the first occasion it was blanked out though ? Also, I am quite intrigued in how the technology of denying satellite broadcasts is working. First of all we need to distinguish that the Iraqis have terrestrial anologue TV...

    IRAQ TV Mystery

Something has been nagging me for over a week now, and for a change, it isn't my wife! I was fortunate enough to have my dish trained on 13E and my channel tuned to IRAQ TV on the morning that the war started. At around 9am (GMT) Iraq Tv was knocked off the air and replaced by a test card...

    Mannhattan Skyline 3000 or technomate 5000 2ci

Hi 'Soapy', I can only make comments based on my own experience. I currently own a manhattan 6800 with embedded irdeto eurocam. This model is very similar in design and functioning to the manhattan 3000. The manhattan 3000 has no embedded cam and retails at around £150-£200 GBP. A suitable cam...

    Al Jazeera

Yes 'Channel Hopper', I too would certainly miss the 'FOX NEWS COMEDY CHANNELL' if it disappeared. Somebody should compile a collection of their 'classic one-liners'. Recent comments that spring to mind are refering to the French as 'Onion Eaters'. Saddam as a Madman and the Iraqi people as sand...

Which is the best Sci Fi series...Past and Present

Sorry Rolf, I stand corrected on the film/series which came first debate. I remember the series showing first on TV and then the film a couple of years later. I falsely assumed that they were produced in this order, but I was wrong. If you never saw the TV series when it was first shown, (and...

Which is the best Sci Fi series...Past and Present

No 'Rolf', it was the other way round. It was a ten or twelve episode series first, then a film. Check on the net for a definitive answer, there are a few sites for the one or two remaining die hard fans of a long forgotten, though much loved series.

    Al Jazeera

Does anyone know if and when Al-jazeera are to begin broadcasting in English. I heard some time ago that they may start dubbing broadcasts into English in the first quarter of 2003 It's just that the war will start any week now, and I'd like the option of listening to 'the other side' to add a...
