You should be able to OTA on Hotbird. I have same receiver and done upgrade many times without bootstrap needed. On version 900, no problems. Try OTA upgrade it should work. Echostar web site and their instructions a little confusing. After you upgrade you need to factory reset/ default. Good Luck.

Anyone know why no PG & Galaxie files work on 6 -in - 1 card with magic cam on echostar 2510 ip ? All software is up to date and have tried removing and reinserting card plus switch on/off receiver as recommended. All other channels work o.k. Regards, Pudge.

Haave had similar problems in past. What cured it was the latest software up-date and a manufacturers re-set. Problem solved.
