I don't get here too often. Being i retired from the satellite business. All free to air can be received here in Naples Italy with a 4 meter dish 24/7. There are some heavy rain wipe outs on free to air but other than that. It's ok.

Hello, I haven't been back here in a while . All BBc,ITV ch 5 and all free view can be received here in naples italy with a 4 meter dish.

Try changing the receiver.If the problem is still there and the cable is not corroded its not cable but the mulitswitch is slow in switching. If all your receivers are causing the same problem then i would suspect the multiswitch.

Update, looks like 4 meter dish is picking up bbc1, itv and 5 usa no problems on the new bird change over. The signal is runing dm500 box. It is a little weaker than the 2 meter dish befoer the change but considering a 1.2 meter was running bbc and free view before the change it should due...

BBC and ITV are not on 26 degree sat. Go to Lyngsat and check all the frequencies. BBc world news is there. Not the same. A 4 meter is being mounted and we should know something soon.

Hello from Naples Italy. I have heard that all the BBC channels and Itv,free view will take a big dish to receive it here in the naples area. A friend says it will drop by over 3 db and will take close to a 4 meter dish to receive it. Sorry i haven't been back here to post much i have retired...

If you are receiving bbc abd itv service then its not the dish and not the cable and you will not need an amp at all. Your skue is off. You need to twist the lnb a tad clockwise and it should pop in. All the free view are the weakest to receive.
