    No signal message on Freesat

The dish was professionally installed when I got the TV (I've never had Sky). It's mounted half way up the side of the house above the garage in a fairly sheltered spot. I've just been up to have a look at it - it looks pretty solid and the connections seem alright but I suppose there is always...

    No signal message on Freesat

I tried that as suggested but it made no difference. I then tried to retune using Autotune and got the message that it could not find Astra 2. Does this mean that it probably is the dish that is out of alignment? We did have some blustery weather a couple of nights ago.

    No signal message on Freesat

I've had a Panasonic TX-37LZD81 for about six months and have had no problems at all receiving Freesat until yesterday when I switched it on and was greeted with a NO SIGNAL message. There was no picture and the signal strengh meter was showing Nil although the programme information was still...

Using an existing dish for Freesat

Just an update on my previous posting. Using an existing dish for Freesat

I currently have a system using a dual LNB tuned to Hotbird13 and Astra 19.2 via a Fortec FSIr-5400 receiver . I'm thinking of getting a Panasonic Freesat 37" set and would like to use the existing dish to receive Astra 28.2 and 19.2 (for the German and French HD broadcasts). Would it be...

Fortec Star Platinum - internal DiSEqC

Many thanks for the quick replies. I've played around with the system a bit more and all the scanned channels now appear on the channel listing but very few are from Astra (perhaps 100 compared to 1900 from Hotbird) and when I click on these all I get is the message"Lock channel" appearing on...

Fortec Star Platinum - internal DiSEqC

Yes that seems to be what's happening. Only the channels from the last scanned satellite appear on the menu

Fortec Star Platinum - internal DiSEqC

Hi Complete newbie here so I hope this isn't a daft question. I've had a Fortec Star platinum operating for about 18 months to pick up Astra 19E and Hotbird using 1 Fixed dish, 2 LNBs, 2 cables and a separate DiSEqC. The dish had become rusty and corroded and the installer replaced it with a...
