I have a manhattan 5800 and I am very pleased with it.
I have the chance to swap it for with a 5900 or 5900 plus.
I know that the 5900 plus carries a hard disk but what worries me is the way they work. I have tried an 7800 and unfortunately it wouldnt open various channels when it was...
Hi to all,
Just have a question.
If SECA 2 is ever hacked... will my Irdeto Cam come to any use?
I noticed that a lot of people are keeping there Aston 1.05 for this reason.
So if the Irdeto cam is no use for this, let me know so I can swap it for an Aston 1.05
Personally I am very happy with the new upgrades. I get much more channels through Astra now although I havent thoroughly checked hotbird.
Let me know specific channels that are suppose not to work and I will check them amd let you know.
The cam is a Freecam afterall.
What I did was I uploaded an upgrading file for the receiver and that was the end of it. All channels work great. Even zapping channels is faster.
So after all it was a software problem and I just upgraded a friends receiver which had the same problem and is...
Instead of patching my receiver (Manhattan 5800)
I removed the Aston and Viaccess cams and now I only use an irdeto cam with a fun card.
The receiver is working fine plus that I now receive most CANAL channels.
My question is:
Which files do I use to programme my card.
My Manhattan 5800 is not patched.
I have a Aston 1.05 Cam with gold card for astra and a Viaccess Cam with gold card for Hotbird.
I can't receive any of these channels on either sattelites.
I programmed a fun card for a friend and I know that he can receive these channels.
For about two weeks I have lost almost all the French channels from Astra. I have a Manhattan 5800 with a Gold Wafer card.
Although I have programmed my record with update files, still nothing. Have they moved to seca 2 ?
Please help on this matter
