I don't think the TV has digital , well doesn't give me the option to scan so I would think that yes I am scanning analogue

thanks for explaining and pictures. how come your rf out/loop out is a f connector. I have a reciever and the rf out is aerial connection and Lnb loop out is a f connector??

Arh think this must be it, I am connecting to loop out next to the lnb tuner. I have tried a sly box and a GI box but both dont have rf out , I think this is how you do it...I will have to try this, thanks for your help!!!
