Hiya all. Does anyone know if there are more satellite channels 'out there' on existing satellites but aren't picked up because the image doesn't contain all transponder frequenices? and therefore the receiver doesn't pick up the service? Cheers?

Just want to thank John Graydon, T G, Gameboy and Haggard (and others who I may have forgotten) for helping me with my Dreambox. Last night I finally managed to watch some channels other than free to air!!!!! Keep up the sharing of knowledge!

I think you've also answered my question. Shame that I gave up on trying to edit a cam therefore reflashed as I thought it was a problem with my image! Nayways...I'm way behind you guys...I ahven't even managed to decrypt a singel channel yet

Thanks Haggard once again. I got so frustrated with Angarhard ( I couldn't select any of the cams except default cams or Radghast); that I have now reflashed with RuDream. As for the up button thingy....its weird but I find that if I press it for a minute then give up and reboot,....Hey...

I'm gonna bury mine inside the Dreambox, using an old pc 5400 Fujitsu. I dont' want to fork out any money on a 'recommended' hard drive. Do you all use these 'recommended' hard drives or any old 5400?

Thanks for the advice John...you're right...I'm not getting value for money. But what I'm thinking now is just to get used to the few satellites that I have and flashing/images/keys etc. Then next spring, pay a pro to install it on my roof. There is no way I could install it on my roof!

I paid £100 for the installation. I guess you get what you pay for! I've checked the mags and I only really need 3 satellites: Astra 28.2, Astra 19.2 and Horbird. I believe these 3 sats have most of the channels. Can't get Sirius 5E or anything west due to a trees.
