Thank you for info, but echostar ad-3000ip only has serial port at rear,advise please

have a problem with echostar ad-3000ip locks up and won't load some TP's on hotbird,have been email by echostar that i need to update software to 1000 version ,they have mailed me the file help now needed have file now how and wont do i need the get software to my receiver thank you
